Bio

I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Security which I have successfully defended in December 2021 at the

National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (INRIA) and the University

of Rennes 1 in France.

My thesis consisted in developing techniques that rely on machine learning for effectively, efficiently,

and robustly detecting and classifying malware packers.

During my thesis, I worked under the supervision of Dr. Fabrizi Biondi, Dr. Olivier Zendra, Dr. Annelie Heuser,

Prof. Stéphane Ubéda, and Prof. Axel Legay.

Before the Ph.D., I got my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and my Master's degree in Computer

Security at the University of Science and Technology of Algiers (Algeria) – Houari Boumediene (USTHB).

My research interests lie at the intersection of Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. In particular, I am interested to study and propose trustworthy AI solutions for real-world cybersecurity applications. That is, how could we provide secure, robust, explainable, generalizable, privacy-preserved, fast and economic AI for real-world cybersecurity applications.
